The Government Sejong New Town Hall Section 2-2 Project received an Excellence Award in the Completed Building category at the 2015 Korean Architectural Culture Awards. This prestigious award, co-hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, the Korea Institute of Registered Architects, and the Seoul Economic Daily, aims to discover and recognize architectural works that embody the essence of Korean architecture, contemporary sensibilities, and functionality, thereby shaping the future of Korean architecture.

The Korean Architectural Culture Awards annually celebrate outstanding buildings that represent Korea, contributing to the formation of a creative architectural culture, fostering pleasant living environments, and contributing to the unique heritage of Korean architecture. The awards ceremony and exhibition for 2015 were held on November 5th at the Korea Architects Association Hall.
