Jaejun Ryu

With over two decades of comprehensive experience, Jaejun Ryu is a seasoned architect whose expertise spans all phases of project development, from feasibility studies to construction administration. He has been instrumental in realizing a diverse array of projects across New York City, including large-scale commercial, mixed-use, multi-unit housing, educational, community, healthcare, and cultural institutions.

Prior to joining H Architecture, Jaejun was a director at Haeahn Architecture, a leading South Korean firm. There, he spearheaded significant urban developments like the Universal Studios Masterplan and the Han River Cinepolis Masterplan, seamlessly integrating entertainment, residential, cultural, and commercial elements. His effective collaboration with government agencies, consultants, and engineers was vital to their success. Additionally, his seven years as an architectural designer at RKT&B Architects in New York City provided him with a deep understanding of the city's architectural context, zoning, and building codes.

At H Architecture, Jaejun’s leadership fosters strong client relationships and consistently ensures high levels of client satisfaction. With expertise in both new construction and renovation of existing buildings - a critical segment of the New York City market - he brings a holistic understanding of architectural challenges and opportunities. Guided by his well-rounded expertise and strategic vision, he leads a team in project management, business development, and client relations, positioning the firm as a leader in innovative and sustainable design.

Jaejun Ryu holds a Master of Architecture from the Pratt Institute School of Architecture in New York. He is a registered architect in New York State, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), a LEED Accredited Professional certified by the U.S. Green Building Council, and a licensed first-class architectural engineer in Korea.
