Locatedin a prime area of Yongsan, the site boasts uninterrupted panoramic views ofthe Han River, Namsan Mountain, and Yongsan Park—making it one of Seoul’s mostsought-after residential addresses. Originally developed in 1984, the existingcomplex comprises 15 uniform slab-style towers, each 13 stories tall, totaling1,326 residential units.

Theproposed redevelopment significantly transforms the site, introducing 1,930units with a total gross floor area of 501,999.29 square meters, including 257rental units. The winning design aims to fully leverage the site's iconic viewswhile enhancing natural ventilation and urban connectivity. The plan reducesthe number of towers to 10, with heights reaching up to 49 stories and 183.5meters, strategically arranged to preserve sightlines and optimize airflow.Additionally, the design incorporates two levels of underground parking and a6-meter-high raised deck to improve construction efficiency andcost-effectiveness.

Followingthis selection, the reconstruction association will move forward with the nextphases, including the appointment of a construction company.
