Located in Staten Island, New York City, the facing main blvd is one of the major road crossing the staten island residential communities. The Monastery development designed to serve the priest, believers and general publics of the community.

There are 3 distinctive programs; Dormitory, Chapel, and Artifact store. Dormitory programs are consist with 6 units, shared living room, amenity, and 2 guestrooms. These spaces are carefully designed to provide calm and instrospective life style of priests. Chapel is designed for internal use. The high ceiling with skylights of the space creating holystic atmosphere. Artifact store is designed with retail logic to serve the function of media missionary.

Programs above are carefully planned as one building with complicate and cultivated scenarios. Distinctive and sometimes conflicting functional character of each spaces are planned to operate smoothly in systematically considered design.
